Securely access your communications equipment from anywhere

DeesLink is a secure, multi-user programmable remote access unit. It allows password-protected dial-up access by off-premise users to one or two ports of your communications, monitoring or paging system.

DeesLink assures access to your office communications systems and can be controlled with complete protection against unauthorized use. With DeesLink you can allow multiple users secure access to your communications systems, each with their own individual profiles. Accessibility and user features are programmed as user profiles in non-volatile memory. DeesLink supports one user at a time, but allows up to 8 different user profiles.

DeesLink is also an easy option to install with any of Dees’ Service Observing system applications. The Restricted Dialing option limits each user’s access. Remote access isn’t just an option any more. This function is now expected in many contact center monitoring solutions. The need to know how the customer is handled isn’t limited to just the supervisor. Now managers and client companies want access to this information as well.

User Profiles
Each user profile is a unique set of individual parameters that set the following characteristics for each user: port they will be connected to; lower and upper line numbers they can dial; and the time out period. User profiles are assigned and programmable.

Programming
The system administrator is the only user (User #1) with permission to program or reprogram the unit. DeesLink can be programmed locally through a tone dialing telephone, or remotely by dialing into the unit as User-1 and entering the programming mode.

Passwords
Passwords are unique to each user, and necessary before DeesLink will connect the user to the auxiliary systems. Each password has to be a minimum of 4 digits long but can be up to a maximum of 8 digits. The user profile identifies which Port the user will be connected to upon access. A high-low tone indicates the password wasn’t recognized.
The password requirement can be disabled for closed systems with one user.

Restricted Dialing (optional)
Once the user has successfully accessed either of the Ports they are ready to dial a line number on the CM-30 or auxiliary system. Their user profile determines what range of numbers they are allowed to dial, and how long they can remain connected to that line. A high-low tone indicates an invalid entry.

User Time Out Period & Release
A user can disconnect from the DeesLink by entering ##, or just hanging up. In the event the user forgets to enter ##, the unit will automatically disconnect upon receiving a telco Remote Disconnect indication, or after the preset Time Out Period:
(1 — 99 minutes). The default is 99 minutes, and can be programmed differently for each user.

Remote call monitoring is an important application for DeesLink. Coupled with one of our CM call monitoring systems, remote access can be offered to as many as 8 different clients. DeesLink assures their access to only those lines assigned in their profiles. Contact Dees to discuss your specific application.
