how the customer is handled isn’t limited to just the
supervisor, now managers and client companies want access
to this information as well.
DeesLink - Remote Access Unit Model 340
Access to your communications equipment, from anywhere at
any time.
DeesLink is a secure, multiuser, programmable
remote access unit; which allows password protected dial
access by off-premise users to your communication system. DeesLink
assures access to your office communications systems and
can be controlled with complete protection against unauthorized
use. With DeesLink you can allow multiple users
access to your communications systems, each with their own
individual profiles. Accessibility and user features are
programmed as user profiles in non-volatile memory. DeesLink
supports one user at a time, but allows up to 8 different
user profiles.
User Profiles
Each user profile is a unique set of individual parameters
that set the following characteristics for each user: port
they will be connected to, lower and upper line numbers
they can dial, and the time out period. User profiles are
assigned and programmable.
Programming
The system administrator is the only user (User #1) with permission to program
or reprogram unit. DeesLink can be programmed locally through a tone dialing
telephone, or remotely by dialing into the unit and entering the programming
mode.
Passwords
Passwords are unique to each user, and necessary before DeesLink
will connect the user to the auxillary systems. Each
password has to be a minimum of 4 digits long but can
be up to a maximum of 8 digits. The user profile identifies
what Port the user will be connected to upon access.
Restricted Dialing
Once the user has successfully accessed either of the Ports
and is ready to dial a line number on the auxilliary system,
their user profile determines what numbers they are allowed
to dial.
User Time Out Period & Release
A user can disconnect from the DeesLink by entering ##, or
just hanging up. In the event the user forgets to enter
##, the unit will automatically disconnect after the preset
Time Out Period.
(1 — 99 minutes). The default
is 99 minutes, or can be programmed differently for each
user.
Remote
call monitoring is a very important application for DeesLink.
Coupled with one of the CM call monitoring systems, remote
access can be offered to as many as 8 different clients. DeesLink
assures their access to only those lines assigned in their
profiles. Call 1-800-654-5604 to discuss your specific application.
